On the EBC4, yes.

Doesn't apply to the EBC310.

Exactly as specified by GM in the attachment.
Here's the PT version of the tool. The Kent-Moore looks identical but with a yellow cap, from pictures I've seen. Also a shot of one installed, and thebar clamps that can be used instead if you dont have the tool.

That’s what I’m gathering.

I also think that there is a difference between 96/97 and the 98/99 trucks as far scan tool compatibility, but I don’t know how to prove that.
Seems like it and probably pcm related.

Could you not then…go to boneyard…grab a 98 pcm…and swap in JUST to cycle ABS?

I had a thought that was similar to that. I think I saw that HP tuners is also compatible with the 98/99. (Possibly further confirming suspicions) I wonder what the differences are :shrug:

Didn’t you say that your new Autel would do 98/99?

Going back and reading the reviews that said it worked in gmt400 trucks were all 98/99 trucks. :confused:
