I can't wait to see these pictures. How did you tear it up?
The good ole' NV4500. My dad's friend bought a 93 k2500 brand new in Anchorage. He put a plow on it in the late 90s. My dad bought it in 2007, and I drove it towing a lawn trailer 5 days per week, and plowed with it in the winters. I beat the P.I.S.S. out of that truck. The only thing we ever had to do was a few clutches over the 10 years that we had it. The truck had 305k when we sold it to a family friend, who got T boned and it was totaled at 320k. The trans and engine was never opened up for any major repairs. That was one hell of a truck. It didn't have any balls in any gear other than low, but I sure did take it to it's limits plowing. I still wish I plowed snow with a manual. No waiting for the truck to stop before shifting into the opposite gear, and getting it unstuck was way easier with being able to rock it.
