Cargo Box Underhood Install

My 97 Sierra did not come with a cargo box under the hood. I am thinking about going to the junkyard for one. How would I go about installing it? Thanks

My guess is you would pay attention to how you remove it when you go to the junk yard and you would install it in the reverse order.

13mm bolt in the fender well a 10mm bolt inside the box holding it to the fender n 2 clips holding it to the trey.

P.s. the 10mm mite not be there

I just keep my heavy duty jumper cables coiled up in the spot that the box goes in.

Try again. $36 for the lid, $40 for the box, $50 for the mounting bracket. Do a little research next time.

If it's oe replacement you don't need a mounting bracket, all of the trucks came with the bracket

Make sure you get the retainer clip out of the fender that the 10mm screws in to also
