Can't find vssb module on 97 c1500

Hey yall does anyone know where the vssb module is located on a 1997 c1500? I bought a custom dip switch module since my speedo is reading 8 mph to fast after changing rims and tires.

That's the first place I looked and couldn't find anything.

Have you downloaded the service manual from this site? Towards the front of the manual is component placement.

I thought it was eliminated in '96 when GM went to OBD2. Wasn't it incorporated into the PCM?

I already spent 150 dollars on the vssb module and you are correct apparently chevy took the vssb out after 96 which ticks me off.

any other way to fix the speedo that reads 8mph fast?

Yeah I just realized you've got a post 96 truck. VSSB is built into the PCM
Not sure you can add that remote VSSB to your truck. If you can it would make resets for tire circumference a lot easier. I bet LT31MaxExpress knows.
