I'm Awesome
Hi guys, new to the forum but had always looked around at threads on here. Local guy from Friendly Manitoba! Grew up in a small town and currently of 16 years old. Bought my first truck, Black 1992 Silverado RCLB 2wd TBI 350 auto. 323,*** KM. Runs strong and well, no ticks, knocks, no smoke, doesn`t burn anything. Owned by older couple that had barely taken it over 85 km/h. No rust on the truck. Also own a 1980 Trans am, white. 301 turbo, but building a 400 pontiac. Expecting some moderate numbers for street use.
I love music, exhaust rumble, carburetors, my friends, power mechanics, and doing well in school. Currently in grade 11, but new semester starts soon. 4 out of 5 of my classes in new semester are for auto mechanics at my school
I would say that I would be fairly knowledgeable already on things regarding mechanics but rather have a bit of help than a mistake. Then again, we do not learn by doing everything right, only progress by learning from our mistakes. I can go through most parts of a vehicle and know the ropes. I would say my `specialty` would be in anything to do with an internal combustion engine. Some times I like to harass my friends a little bit that are in my automotive classes.
Have a few questions so I will surely be asking them when I first start posting my threads!
