Hey guys going to get a new wheel and tire set up... I just have a 3 inch body lift and stock wheels with 265's on it... I wanted to do just a aggressive look with not to much tire sticking out just a little bit... I was thinking a 16x8 wheel with like a 4.5 minimum backspacing and then a 33/12.50.... i am not to good at the whole fitment thing and i dont want to rub at all so please give me input!!!!

ok cool man would a 4" back spacing be enough to clear the 33/12.50s so i can keep my turning radius.... i think a simple 33/12.50 will do the trick... i dont really want to lose to much power... a 305 is a 34.2" tire correct?

All depends on your wheels. I run 35s with no lift, but i have +22 offset wheels.

Not only will you need the 3" lift, but you will most likely have to trim the front bumper to accommodate your usual turn radius. I have 35/12.5/15 on my 99 Tahoe with the bumper trim and 3" lift, she turns like she still on the stocks.

35's wont properly fit. if you want to do it right I would deff not go over 33's. sure, you can make 35's work for driving in a parking lot, well only if you don't reverse at full steer. I remember my brothers 96 2dr Tahoe was stock and ran 285's on stock wheels, they would hit on dips and flexing.

I run 295/75/16's on a 3" body lift. Just a little wider and taller than a 285.
