i went straight to 3500 ones for a 93 7.4L dually i think it was. at least i thought what they gave me were the 1 ton pads if not then my apologies for the argument. i do know the 2500 6 lug pads work perfect as stated they are the same as the 1.2 tons

Maybe that's the difference then, I ordered mine for a 98 8 lug 2500. Maybe the earlier ones use a different pad

I looked up a 98 3500 an it called for the same part number. I wasn't trying to argue, just to save someone else some $$$ since I knew it didn't work on mine.

odd just to avoid hassle go with the 1/2 tons anyways until someone feels like messing with all types of pads one day. i just went with the duallys knowing that if they didnt work then i could easily take them back and walk up to the store. they worked unless they gave me the wrong pads. which usually doesnt happen to me but not unheard of.
