So I just finished getting my truck restored and I changed my mirrors to the Cal Vu mirrors. I also changed the doors and put my old windows into the new doors. The doors fit really good and my dad thinks that it might be the mirrors creating the wind noise, any one have this problem with the Cal Vu mirrors or does anyone think it could a combo of the new doors and windows.

Did you use the foam strips that came with the mirrors? I've never had a problem with mine

The mirrors were installed by the bodyshop, but we can see a small strip of the foam sticking out of the mirror. We going back tomorrow to get a couple touch ups done, so I think we are going to bring the original GM rubber backings from the Dumbo mirrors. Has anyone used the rubber off of the original Dumbo mirrors before on the Cal Vues?
