So as you all know i was on the prowl for another truck when I stumbled onto a 1993 k1500 step side with 84,253 original miles!!!!!! I jumped all over it and talked the seller down to $3,000! :) iv only had it for a day but here is a list of a few things I got done yesterday:
Put 18 inch nnbs cadillac escalade wheels/ Bf Good rich tires on
started the de mold on one side (finishing that today)
put the old grille shell from KI\\ER on
Put the restored headlights from KI\\ER on
Started to remove fender well trim (also finishing today)
changed air filter
put KI\\ER's old taillights on
Put new exhaust tips on
Now Here are the before and after pics all ready;) :
When I first looked at the truck on Friday:

Looks good, you've gotten more done to your truck in a day than I have to mine in a year hahaha

Oh............and diff. mirrors for sure.

Ya get KI\\ER some tow mirrors and put the old ones on the new truck.

and I have to ask, but I thought you were worried about fuel mileage?????

Nice clean truck though. Looks like a good start, I personally dont care for the wheels but I dont like them on escalades either

Ha ha you got me there but the price was just to good to pass up. I put these wheels on because they are a huge improvement over the stockers that only had 225's on them instead of 265's or 245's lol. and Im debating about tow mirrors because I really have no use for them other than for looks, and I can pick up a set of mirrors like KI\\ER's for $20 at a salvage yard. And Rewind im ditching those steps today and I might get n-fabs if I lift it, or maybe il lower it.... but lowering a 4x4 seems a little redundant to me ha ha.
