Does anyone know of a good transmission shop in Central or South Mississippi that would install a 4L80E transmission in my 1999 tahoe?
My husband recently installed a new crate motor in the Tahoe and we had a local transmission shop rebuild the 4L60E. It's going out again 6 months later. I probably messed it up as the ignition switch went bad and I drove it 20 miles home in 3rd or 4th gear.
We want a transmission that is reliable and we can use to pull our 4500 lb. rv anywhere we want without worrying about it.
