Beef up front end parts

97 k1500 dc lift looking to beef up the ifs. Already found the Pitman and idler support from cognitto

Are there any other parts that i can beef up tie rods balljoints????

Not sure if you can beef them up or not but MOOG parts are supposed to be really good. A buddy of mine has a 95 1500 with a 4" rough country lift and he replaced everything with MOOG and is happy with them.

Check to see if a 1 ton front end parts are any beefier. Just a thought, I'm not sure if they are beefier or will bolt up though

The best part about MOOG parts is the lifetime warrenty! MOOG parts do last alot longer then the cheaper ones, well worth the little extra $$$

^^ Deffinetly go with MOOG, my whole front end is MOOG, and i've had no problems what so ever.

I know this thread is REALLY old but has anyone tried the steering from a 1 ton on a k1500? I checked the cognito tre parts but nothing is listed for a 1990 with the two bolt idler arm.

Steering on a 1 ton is the same as 1/2 ton.
