"Bed" mods...

I'm seriously considering several mods to my truck's bed...

When I first bought the truck in 96, I added an under-the-rail bed liner, Extang tonneau cover and 4 tie down hooks which clamp to the underside of the bed rail and don’t interfere with the cover. I’m looking for input on which type of spray-in bed liner you folks recommend, whether or not anyone has installed a cargo “track system” like the one shown here:

and if there’s a better way to go than the old vinyl Extang tonneau which quite frankly, still works and look like new. Pics are a plus, your input is appreciated!

Some additional info… I routinely use a homemade wood canoe/kayak/bike rack which slides in the back of the truck. I don’t have anything permanently mounted in the bed, like a tool box.
