Anyone tried Updating their Dash?

I was wondering if anyone has tried retrofitting their dash with a newer model truck?

I found this and just thought I would ask since I like this dash style.

imho, not worth the hassle, i hate those dashes, the big empty space under the steering column bugs me, all that real estate and they put the park brake release hanging down like and after thought, just gross.

Yea you can tell. Look at the passenger side at how far out it comes past the door panel

EDIT: i MIGHT be wrong on my years, maybe 1990 is same as 88/89

Mine is the same as the '90-'94 picture. I did notice the difference in arm rests but thought it had to do with the different trim styles.

As for upgrading a 95-98 dash to a 99-06...why? They aren't very different IMO.
