as for hitting the frame on stockers, I got 255/70 16's and mine rubs the upper control arm and the frame but seems to have only done it on the driver's side at full turn to the left.
My BFG's (285/75/16) were $1050 installed. If I knew I could get 15's that cheap I would have bought rims!!! Not real happy with the tires, they seem to wear quick on pavement. Alignment and front end parts are all in good shape.
