Annoying exhaust leak

Remember now guys we are talking about a big block exhaust here.

No this is on a vortec 350 its dual exhaust back to the muffler then cuts down to single exit. There is one cat on the front side of the flange, and one cat on the muffler side of the flange. the flange is a 3 bolt setup, single gasket that joins the dual exhaust section together.

My OP was about a big block but it sounds like yours is setup about the same.

Do you remember the ID and OD of the pipe?? it would be nice to get a size that slips right over then i can just weld around the seams on both ends

Mine is a 1500 5.7, it has the dual 2" headpipes all the way to the muffler.
