The system had the capability to support wireless headphones.You may need to drop the console and verify everything is plugged in.The upside is that as long as the install is tidy on the screen,then the whole console should drop like a stock overhead. I can't recall if audiovox used a oddball headphone or not.

Resurrecting this thread. I just picked up a 97 GMC Suburban a few weeks back and it has this rare Audiovox overhead console unit. Everything is working but the flip down screen just broke at the hinge. Most likely 24 years of plastic getting brittle.

Has anyone found a replacement or upgrade screen for this?
