Would an add a leaf stiffen up the rear? Thing rides like a boat down the road compared to my ext cab.

3/4 ton suspension? i know Wikipedia is lying lol. Standard 8.5 10 bolt.. same amount of leafs in a pack as my 99 LT.. torsion bars dont feel any stiffer. And what skid plates? It has nothing different then my 99 LT.. or my 96 SLT Suburban. Bilstiens? My 96 SLT has them from the factory. I see no mechanical differences.. only appearance.

z71s had skidplates, stickers and bilstiens no 3/4 ton suspension. there were some oddball heavy half z71s.

the fact of the matter is you can swap 3/4 ton and 1 ton bars and leafs into any of them although i do beleive the springs are slightly different on the suv's

In short, yes. It will stiffen it up quite a bit.
