98 power leather seat lumbar repair...

It was working when i bought the truck months ago. I can hear the motor when I hit the switch but its not pumping up anymore. Anybody know whats wrong or how I can fix it? All advice is appreciated

One of the lines may have become disconnected between the pump & the bag.
Could also be a hole in the line that has been pinched in some manner.
Or...the bag may have a hole.
Wrecker parts. Get what you need from a passenger seat. They always have less wear & tear than the driver's.

The place on the air bag where the hose connects, brakes, and the bag no longer holds air. I saw this on a corvette forum. A blood pressure cuff makes a good replacement for the air bag,or at least, that what I read on the corvette forum. There were several post on there about this, and they were all along those lines. Here are some videos on it, on a corvette. Its going to be about the same thing on our trucks.

Looks like the factory bags are still available for the power '97+ bucket seats (unless the 11th Digit of your VIN is a Z, in which case it looks like they used a bag with an integrated line which is discontinued). Part number 12367286, around $150. Expensive, but cool that you can still buy them new if you want to.
