First off, I have a 97 ECSB K1500 5.7 Auto. It has power mirrors but the driver's side mirror does not adjust properly. I had acquired complete doors off a 99 Tahoe so I pulled the driver's side mirror off to put on my 97. What I discovered is that the 99 had an 8 wire plug while my 97 has a 4 wire.
Are the extra wires for heaters? I am assuming that I can trust that the colors that are the same are in fact for the same thing so I could just use the 4 pin connector off my 97 mirror. Just leaving the heater wires unused.
Am I right?
