96 tahoe dome lights not working

Weird- on my new to me 96 2dr, I can turn on my dome lights with some override button, 50/50 on weather they go off when I start the truck, but they WONT go off when I leave the truck- so I leave them off which is a pita.. Any thoughts? There is an after market alarm installed- that a chance of the problem?

I also have the same problem with my 96 crew cab, only lights that come on are the doors, nothing else, anyone found the fix yet?

I had similar issues on my 99 burb with domes not working and I found a couple connectors behind the drivers side kick panel and connector for the domes sits on the floor and was green with corrosion. So I cut out the bad and put the harness back together with blue butt connectors and never had another problem. Hope this helps someone.

My dome light not working at all, however the bulbs in the door panels have been removed. Could this cause the dome light to not work?
