yea not sure on the cost I just threw it out there. I always work with what I got too, plus I don't know enough about FI and motor/computer.harness swaps to make it work.

I don't know where the OP is but around here EVERYONE wants a 6.0 so it's rare to see them go for under $1600 and even rarer to see them on CL. If my motor goes soon I'll have to settle for a 5.3 then swap in a 6.0 later.

I've never looked for them around here, but the 3 junkyards that are close, well 4, all deal in newer stuff. it's hard to find a gmt400 unless it's around a 98. You could probably find one around here but cost I have no clue on never looked.

6.0s have always seemed to be a hot commodity around here because of the shear number of f-body guys and with the aftermarket explosion of parts everyones seems to be nabbing them up, airboaters, drag racers to drop in this that and another, and every other project car out there.

you can pick up low mile 6.0s here with harness for around 1100 thats what i gave for mine 5.3s usually for around 6to900 here in wv

lol well thanks guys... im thinking maybe my money would be better spent on a 6" lift (rcx or cepek), and 35s. then later on down the road drop in a 6.0 or something. if i do a lift im thinking i might as well do the exhaust though. for headers should i do shorties or long tube? ... so many ideas, so little money lol
