93 Steering Column Swap

So i know on the 95-98, the upper shaft can be changed out with alot newer models to accept the newer steering wheel.

With that said, is the 88-94 the same ? Or what are my options.

When I Still had my 99 c3500, non-air bag truck, I had an 89 c1500 steering wheel in it.
No mods to the column.
Slight mod to the clamshell. The edge of the clamshell that butts up to the steering wheel has a lip on it. Shave the lip off.
Other than the shave, everything worked as it should.

Right. Steering wheels work. But im wanting the steering wheel from alot newer.
