88-94 Steering Wheel Alternatives

Whatever is inside the wheel of my steering wheel is deteriorating and it will need to be replaced. What other wheels will work on a 93 Silverado? I only ask because junkyard adventure season draws near.

GM used the same steering column from (I think) 1956-1994. Any steering wheel from that time period will bolt on directly.

i have a 12 1/2 or 13 1/2 Grant GT and love it, a little smaller than stock but still was easy to turn 285s on my 88 in case you decide to go aftermarket and wonder about sizing, also it only moved the wheel out about 1/2 inch

I've used Fiero wheels in my square bodies. Loved 'em. IIRC the Cavaliers (Z-24?) used the same ones. Smaller & fatter than stock. Bolted on. They should do the same for pre-airbag GMT400's.

i currently have a 1970's Pontiac "Formula" wheel in mine, came factory on GTO's, Formula/Trans Am, etc.

i even went as far as putting a chrome tilt lever, turn signal stalk and ignition all out of a early 90's buick.

I had the one from my 86 Monte SS in mine for a while, I love the look of it, but the grant I installed in the SS felt too flimsy so I swapped it back.
