Have to agree with Skylark and Richard, don't know what pcm was used on 95 models but the early black boxes in the 96's had some internal ground issues between circuit boards (dual boards). GM issued a tsb and kit to fix the ground problem on those pcm's, trans shops found out about that tsb and wouldn't warranty a trans without it being completed. The ground problem basically prevented line pressure rise when it was called for which caused failures like you are having, so a check of the wiring and pcm might be in order.
