I did the mod a long time ago but I forgot to put up my progress.

I also have 6k HIDs in my lows.

But I dont use my Highs very much with the HIDs, the 4Hi mod is still a nice touch. I plan on adding some more HIDs for the highs down the road.

If I had lights like that I'd still use my brights- haha. Light up the world- better than smucking a deer/dog/something on the road that you didn't see.

Thats the thing, I did the 4hi mod and it was awesome. Then upgraded to 6k HIDs in my lows and never even put on my highs anymore because there is no real difference. The lows just overpower my Silverstar Highs.

I have been working on my hids for 3 days now
I have high and low hid and the 4hi conversion but i keep loosing a low beam when switching.
I have a 98 gmc k2500. Relays for high and low sets and a relay for 4hi conversion, all power comes from the post on the fusebox under the hood and grounded behind the washer fluid tank. My 4hi conversion doesnt have a fuse?
What am i doing wrong
The 4hi conversion is tapped into the hid relays

This diagram shows 4 ways to wire 4-Hi; some are easier than others:

I used the simple shunt with switch (no relay), and did all my wiring at the steering column:
