Hey guys I just got a plow truck 93 k 1500. With supposed started problems. Turns out a connecting rod was broken.now I have a rebuilt 305 (.030 over ) 310. My questions are can I use the intake manifold tbi unit and all sensors from the 350 motor and use it I the 305 ? This will just be a yard truck.

1.) KS has to be matched to the ESC or you'll get SES

2.) 54LB/HR as apposed to 61LB/HR

3.) Your VE Tables (AFR) will be way off. Unless you can swap the ECM AND injectors, you'll need some tuning. Timing may be off too.

Can't get it to run. With out holding down the gas. Will idle at about 1000 but no lower. Timing seems off. Not sure.

What is the cranking compression?

What is the base timing?

Everything is From the 350 motor that was in the truck.
I have the number 1 piston @tdc. And set the distributor str8 at number 1 terminal. Should be close enough to 0° to get it started.

Is that why it won't run with having the legal down some ?
