I love work trucks as that's what I do is drive. What a sweet combo 8.1 and nv4500. I've never met an 8.1 I didn't like. Great truck

She got plugs and WIRES yesterday afternoon. The guys who play with these 8.1L engines say these TAYLOR 10.4mm are the hot ticket and i can say it runs stronger down low and i noticed it right off .

Tired of fuel barfing on my hand filling up so i re designed the filler pipe .

Any more work I’m this truck? I’ve got a cream puff 1 owner 92’ 2500 and a 94’ cab chassis I’m about to swap to build something similar. I’d like to also solid axle swap it but I am trying to figure out how to do that without lifting it more than an inch or 2

Do you have an HD or regular 2 ton? My '00 is SAS and is bout 3" over stock, perfect almost. I's not hard to get a low SAS, just takes some thought and the right parts.

It’s 8lug so I assume HD. I’m just learning model detail. I found a 10lug but went with the 8lug so the bolt pattern would match when I do add the straight axle.

Ok so a regular 1 ton. Not a 2 ton lol…HD’s are the 10 lug rears with dropped I beam 2wd front axle. Many ways to SAS these, hardest is finding an axle….
