1999 Silverado Steering wheel conversion to a 1995 Yukon

Hello everyone I am new to the GMT400 platform. I recently bought a 1995 2 door Yukon 6.5 turbo diesel and the steering wheel is completely shot. I bought a 1999 Silverado steering wheel since the airbag is smaller but I’m wondering how to get the horn working and get the airbag plugged in since the harnesses are different. Any help would be appreciated thank you!!

1995 one air bag, 1999 2 air bags. 1995, 1996 will work in your truck. 1997 and up will not.

Trying to adapt different versions/ generations of airbags is not something any DIY should attempt. They are matched components. They are an explosive device. You don't assume anything with objects that explode. This is not installing a later model radio.
