Im fairly new to this site, but im also on FSC & 67-72...
Befor i had these trucks... i had:
1971 C10 SWB stepside (still do, restorting)
1988 ECLB (drove for a month and parted out)
1992 GMC Sierra SLE ECSB stepside (rolled april 09)
1989 Scottsdale, lowerd and build motor 310sbc cammed. Built tranny (replacement truck for 92, bought for 800, sold for 2500)

ThenI bought this 1998 Sierra in september 09, it had some minor mods and a bit of paint work done to it, it was origionaly a 2 tone pewter & Green truck... on November 28th motor stopped running, because of a spun rod bearing and highly damaged crank... it had 280,000km on it when it stopped... in january it recieved a new Crate 305 vortec that i port & polished the heads myself befor dropping it in.
this is how i got it in september.

After my motor blew i felt the need for a new truck to keep me on the road... So DroppedAsAChild pointed this one out... i wanted it... so i bought it for 2500, truck was mint, except the motor needs a set of valve seals, it burns alot of oil on #1 cyl.

got it undercoated and ready for winter.

and then on december 23rd, we got run off the road by an assumed drunk driver, he came into mine lane so i headed for the ditch. and nailed a tree.
but its all cosmetic damage, and a rad... and i have all the parts waiting on spring.

Damn that sucks about the getting ran off the road. That black truck looks clean as hell. Looks like a great deal for 2500 bucks.

Green truck is nice too. Im just partial to rcsb trucks. lol

man that sucks! that was one of the nicest trucks i have seen before you got screwed over. i had an 88 all shaved and rust free with a new paintjob that i hit a tree with in the snow. it was way worse than your but i feel your pain on that one man!
