My 96 gets about 15 with mixed city and the occasional trip to the lake pulling the boat. On trips im averaging about 18.2 - 18.5 no trailer and about 16 pulling my boat. I have been impressed with that kind of MPG out of my 225K + mile truck but with all honesty that with me being very particular how I drive and trying hard to get good MPG. HWY im running about 69 to keep the rpms under the 2K mark

My '98 Z71 averages 15-15.5 daily driving and I have seen 17.9mpg running 78mph on the interstate. I'm on stock diameter tires, 3.73 gears, upgraded spider, fresh tune-up, and a Dynomax Ultraflow muffler.

14.7 MPG lifetime with the 5.7 and 3.73 gears. Rarely loaded, either all city driving, or all freeway. Taking off my 300lb lumber rack made a fraction of an MPG difference, but otherwise seems to be the same no matter how I drive.

97' suburban 5.7 with 3.42, if i baby it on the highway I can almost get 18MPG (90kph at 1400rpm FTW). City driving I can sometimes get 8MPG, I just really like the sound of my exhaust c:
