After a unfortunate mishap a few months back with a Summit cam that disintegrated immediately on first startup, I finally got this thing back together and running. I had to tear the whole engine down and start over, so I said "f it" and bored it .060" over while I had it apart. So now it's a 468, I did not go with another Summit cam and instead used a Howards Street Force 2 cam (215/225 @.050", .522/.533 w 1.72:1 rockers, 112 LSA, 108 ICL). Along with going .060" over I went with flat tops and .022" head gaskets. This got me around 9.4:1 compression. I went with Headman long tube headers and custom built the exhaust. Break-in went great and she sounds mean! I've done some driving around town but I need to change the fuel pump and injectors and then do some tuning before I really try to unleash it.
