So I found a 14 bolt SF to swap into ol' Steve. I'm excited to do the swap and I'm gathering prices for a few parts I'll need, but I can't make heads or tails of which conversion u-joint I need. I've come up with Precision 447 in a few places but I've heard it doesn't fit the one piece aluminum driveshaft. Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

That question was just asked here a while back too, with an answer, but now I can't seem to find it.

I bought a couple from the store and one was the right one, returned the rest.

:imo: That's what I did the second time I did the swap, the first time I took the caps off of one and put it on the other for the yoke. Both ways work but you can buy a specific U-Joint for the axle.

I read someone removed the pinion from the 10 bolt and installed in on the 14. No need for a conversion u-joint in that scenario.
