    Im pretty sure its fits, but can i use a TBI y-pipe on a vortec engine? The y-pipe is for a 350, but would it fit a 305?

    plug wires are correct, plugs look good, no coolant in oil, none of the gauges have worked for years so im not sure if the coolant temp sensor is wrong. So are you saying to replace the rotor?

    No bad noise when truck is running, with trans in neutral. When I press the clutch pedal in, a noise that is hard to describe occurs. When I shift into gear, truck stalls. Its a 5 speed.

    This is for K15 Blazer I just removed my 4 wheel Antilock unit. Its huge, Throw it away. Then get a 3 way splitter block, (its brass) from a 88-94 pickup. Then get a proportioning valve from a 88-94 pickup. Re-route the 2 front lines into the brass splitter block and run one line up...

    This is the new grille, lights, etc... Also some pictures of the interior. I peeled all the stickers/ duct tape off of the shifter, sanded, and painted it. I sanded the tail lights with 400 grit and brushed them with outdoor polyurethane. I have done this on previous trucks and it holds up...

    To answer a few questions. It runs great, the motor is just about the only original part in the drivetrain. The tailgate is all finished. Where I bolted the used hinges on the box, it is starting to turn to swiss cheese. I slapped some paint on the tailgate for good looks! Big time rust...

    I hit up the junkyard for some much needed parts. I picked up a grille, headlights, turn signals, tailgate hinges, and a few chunks of y-pipe. - $23 I got an intake and airbox for $20 from a truck that rolled over. I had to paint the blue door, it bothered me.

    For a new back window, I got a piece of 1/2 inch thick acrylic from the ice arena. I reused the existing 3 piece frame. A friend of mine cut the pieces and trimmed the edges with a router. I had to buy a tube of clear silicone for $3.50, so this part of the project didn't cost much money...

    The torsion bars were cranked all the way up until the keys hit the top of the crossmember. I snapped one of the bolts off lowering it back down. New bolt and torsion adjustment block.$24

    This is the truck when I first got it. Tailgate broken off, no exhaust except for the manifolds, no headlights, grille, turn signals, intake and air box missing, crack on one frame rail, broken back window, and I Love U carved into the paint on the other side.

    I had a 1993 worktruck 2wd 4.3 and the best I got was 34mpg. I would consistently get over 1000 miles per tank. I have yet to drive my 96 4x4 w/ 305. What are people getting with their 305 vortec 5 speeds?

    Clutch Safety Switch Problem

    1996 truck. Anyone remove the safety switch for the clutch pedal and mess with the wiring. There are 2 large wires (Purple and Yellow.) Then there is 2 small wires (purple and brown w/ chaser.) MY wiring diagrams dont show them all.
