What do you guys think about these: Monroe 58600 Sensa-Trac Load Adjusting Shock Absorber http://amzn.com/B000C53RVM Are these a good option or just a bandaid fix?

Fan clutch replacement, standard or reverse rotation

Thanks for the reply, makes sense now, I was just confused as none of the part descriptions mentioned that it was reverse of the crankshaft rotation just "reverse rotation"... Anyway, replaced the fan clutch and now my GMT doesn't sound like a Mack Truck going down the road lol

Fan clutch replacement, standard or reverse rotation

Need to replace the fan clutch on my truck. Parts list asks for standard or reverse rotation. Obviously the crank is turning clockwise, my fan is turning counterclockwise. I'm assuming this makes it a "reverse rotation" but I want to confirm this. Any info on this would be great as I'm new to...

If there's play in the hub (make sure it's only in the hub and not a steering joint) that usually constitutes a bearing replacement. Another thing you can do is find an empty parking lot and drive in a figure 8 pattern, usually when a wheel bearing is going bad it will make a noise when loaded...

What shocks are you guys towing with.

Need to replace my rear shocks. I have 3/4 ton axles and a 2 horse gooseneck pretty much married to the truck. Any recommendations?
