    Okay and thanks. Basically mines fine and my dad's is shot. Would like to get my gauge working if anyone has any ideas about that, if i have to replace dash cluster, fuel unit, or maybe a wire to look at.

    Just asking around to get some ideas, my 1998 ecsb when i first start it the oil pressure runs about 60 psi then when it reaches operating temp it runs the normal 40 psi . On highway at operating temp i run about 50 psi. Is this normal, something getting worn or did someone put in a high volume...

    awhile back i was able to get a code reader on my obd11 connector but now i can't get anything not even any power to the reader. when you first connect it's supposed to flash "pocket scan" (and it works cause i use it on other vehicles) but on my 1998 GMC sierra i get nothing but a blank...

    yeah ididn't really think about mentioning drivetrains. i've never been under a gmt400 until i got mine and been doing the work to it, so i didn't know any different. we was just thinking but are on budgets so not a lot of play for parts. thanks for all the info guys.

    fuel guage problems

    i have a 1998 c1500, my problem is my fuel gaugr quit on me( it now always reads full) and ive checked the fuses. im wondering if its the sending unit on fuel pump or something else.

    If the rear axle matches up the same i can live with the 1.5 on each side. I would just be slightly narrow in front. Im running 31x10.50 as is right now so i dont think it would be to bad, after a swap i might run 33's.

    I will either leave it stock or put a simple lift that can still use the stock parts. As for the wheels im just wanting some 15 inch aftermarket , something like those black rockcrawlers or so. by the way how do u change your profile picture?

    Mine is a 1998 sierra sl ext cab. i just didnt know if the hubs would fit or if i had to change spindles. as for the rear im thinking of just dropping a rear axle from a z71 to do it in a budget.

    Does anyone know if i could put the 6 bolt hubs off a 2-wheel drive 3/4 ton on my c-1500. basicly i just want to know if the hubs would go on the stock spindles.
