fuel guage problems

i have a 1998 c1500, my problem is my fuel gaugr quit on me( it now always reads full) and ive checked the fuses. im wondering if its the sending unit on fuel pump or something else.

Probably the sending unit. You can get a wiring diagram for it and ground the wire from the fuel sending unit to the gauge to see if the gauge is working properly.
