Need some help with a small coolant leak

Yup. Once I pulled off the fan shroud, the problem was staring me right in the face. Corroded out and leaking basically where the core meets the passenger side tank, about midway up. Got the new rad and hoses, just waiting until I have time next week to do it. Should be an interesting...

Need some help with a small coolant leak

That's what it's looking like....hoses are definitely intact. Not a drop of wetness around them. And the cap appears to be fine. Will probably just replace the rad. It isn't that much. Thanks for the help, all....:)

Need some help with a small coolant leak

And that's a perfectly round hole like its supposed to be there....it appears that that hole isn't in the radiator itself, but where it's mounted into on the bottom...maybe...haven't worked on one of these in years

Need some help with a small coolant leak

Got a 93 Suburban, 5.7L, that developed a small coolant leak earlier. Its coming from a small, round hole on the bottom of the radiator, almost directly beneath where the lower radiator hose goes in on the passenger side. Again, its very minor so far. After I park it, it will leave a spot...

    My Near Mint 1993 Suburban

Thank You everybody for your kind replies!!! I actually had the Suburban given to me by my grandparents. Coolest folks in the world, but I insisted on paying them something for it, since its just a gem. So in the end, I gave them $2000 before they stopped accepting my money. As far upgrades...

    My Near Mint 1993 Suburban

Thanks, I appreciate it! Tires for sure! (They're 20 years old, but its always been garage kept) Thinking about wheels and maybe an audio upgrade. Truth be told, I'm really torn about how much I should modify it, or leave it mostly original. It runs and drives like a dream. Im new around...
