yeah i'm glad i did it but at the same time its hard to get away. I've always had a secret love affair for the wrx not thinking i would actually get my hands on one then taking the time to modify it...(told myself after the truck i would no longer do that again) but thats a disease. btw...

yeah thats a bit smaller then mine. i love my car, nothing like out pulling 5.0 mustangs :D but everyday i miss the truck.

Long gone...

yeah i'm now on a 30 mile round trip commute in the city...so 9mpg wasn't doing so hot. Plus i could never seem to get that oil leak to seal.

actually whats the part number for the magnaflow your running? your talking the ones with the built in x pipe? and how loud is it? cause i like it loud but good sounding

its 2.25" true duals no cats with shorty headers for everyones reference. but i'm thinking i'm gonna start with a h-pipe or have a shop weld a cross over in see if that does anything then i'll either move up to longer glass packs or some flow 10's if that doesn't help

i'd put flow 40's in but i don't wanna mess with getting them to fit and don't have the money for 80 bucks a muffler...but i am thinking the 18" cherry bombs thats 10inches over what i have...btw i'm running catless with headers 2.25"

lol i live in roseville....and i drive downtown all the time yet to have been pulled over...i was driving through the 394 tunnels the other day in second gear and there happen to be a cop behind me...didn't say **** and mines poppy as all hell

sick of the glasspack pop

so i've only had my 8" glasspacks on there for a month now and i'm sick of the pop and crackle...what would be a good nice and loud alternative with a smoother tone? i don't want it clappy like straight pipes...i kinda jumped the gun on the glasspacks for sure but i was in a hurry to get it...

see thats my fear here...i don't wanna mess with getting the computer tuned just yet...i just don't wanna spend 1000 bucks on the stock ypipe and cats...just wanna weld in some after markets. i was looking at http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MPE-53005/ but unless you have a better suggestion...

distributor issue?

On accelration and only acceleration. Its almost like its firing when the exhaust valves are open

distributor issue?

Alright so I replaced the distributer and checked all connections and all problems are still existing...this all started after I got the new chip you think this could be the cause? I'm running out of possible solutions to what could be causing this...and I need it running prime! Also it started...

Was it easy to swap the plug? Or do they sell the actual plug and everything? Or what would I have to o for that. Cause I'm thinking of doing that and replacing the distributor. I have all new plugs wires cap and rotor....so I know that's not what's causing it

i was reading and i saw that sometimes the sensor or what ever can go bad in the tbi distributors. right now i've messed with the timing had a new chip put in and it still back fires in the mid section of my rpm range. like it doesn't sound like its missing at the higher rpms 3k+ but in like the...

exhuast options

so i'm gonna be redoing my exhuast here in a month or so. i just don't know what to do for mufflers i'm gonna be running 2.25" piping true duals i want it loud but i want the rumble not the pop and crack of straight pipes. also i don't wanna spend a fortune on mufflers. i was think cherry bomb...

timing issue

i might try it. it seems to run fine when its warm but runs absolute **** right after cold start. like it feels like its really missing then. but like i said once its warm its fine

alright so i timed it at 0 today with the est unplugged and it all seems to be running fine. but you think i should advance it a degree or two? cause i feel it could be a little better

do you got a picture of where thats located? cause i herd something about it and i was thinking on the distributor itself so i tried all of those and couldn't get it started. so pull that time it to 0 then it should correct?
