Gouges in axle housing

Alright so I finally got my old axle bearings out of my 14 bolt semi floater, however I have put some major gouges in where the bearing itself sits. Am I able to just press in new bearings and it’ll be fine? I’ve smoothed it over with sandpaper and removed any highs. Was thinking I could use JB...

Parking brake cable help

So I have a 14 bolt axle swapped into my 1990 K1500 rcsb and have put all new parts in the 11” drums. I cannot for the life of me get the rear cable to reach the front cable and connector. I got some brakeware cables from Autozone and they are about 5 inches too short of reaching the front...
