    If its a 350 the dual pipes going into the front of the muffler are 2". I have a 96 with a 305 and single exhaust but it has 2 3/4" piping.

    It's pretty common, my neighbors 94 K1500 ECSB has both manifold gaskets and donuts leaking. Old black sounds like a tractor lol

    Well mines a 1996 with a 305 Vortec and it deffinately has stock piping that measures 2 3/4". They must have changed pipe sizing with the Vortecs. So Scott have you decided on a muffler yet?

    How many miles are on it? Its pretty common for those to leak on higher mileage trucks.

    LoudnLifted88, I went out an measured mine and it is 2.75 OD. Did you just go with a 3" muffler? Putting 2.75 piping on a vehicle is pretty ignorant considering how uncommon it is. And Wagonbacker9, thanks for the offer! What town do you live in? Im about 30 miles of Peoria.

    If I go to Autozone will they tell the muffler I need? I have a 305 so Im assuming its 2.5" piping. I think I need an offset in/offset out. I have a carquest in my town that Ill but the clamps and extra pipe from. Is it ok to just have it clamped on or will it leak?
