to house the deck and ac controls framed out the deck to match ac frame (which I cut out of the dash) first just filled in with some bondo. wanted sharper lines then decided to clean it up with some fiberglass, loose the edges all together soldered 19 wires (38 connections) for the ac...

painted flat black inside, and 3M adhesive to adhere the black crushed velvet wrapped over the top edge as well cut out a face frame, 1/4" outside the "screen" of the IPad test fit, frame works, need to round over corners and trim dash bezel glued the face to the frame and the console i...

soooo, the frame for the IPad, was just layered fiberglass on the back (protected with aluminum foil) and used plastic weld epoxy to adhere the dock to the fiberglass just some 1/4" mdf i had lying around. cut 3/4"strips and made the frame epoxy used to attach frame to dock and fiberglass...

to get you going on your ipad part....lol molded the cup holder, will place actuator switch in the "grip" part of it. ipad frame done, just waiting on urethane to finish molding dash to it. making hinges now......if you are still interested in doing the ipad in your OBS, pm me for more...

Moving AC/heat controls

it was fairly easy....19 wires I think. I just did one at a time, lengthened 30", and soldered each joint (60.....whew!) all I can say is go at least a foot longer than you think you need:) only moved about a foot, but nice to have the play room to move around. and for the bezel, I cut...

Need ideas on filling tailgate emblem holes.

I know....old thread, but I have found that jbweld and a washer on the inside of the panel seals it up nice. then some body filler

OBS only , painted interior pics

all that, + 7000 watts rms, 4 12's in a blowthrough, tuned to 34hz........your right. no imaging. BUT LOUD AS FAUK!!!! lol I just hd a ball with fiberglass, so for fun, this is it for me. already bored with it being loud, am now going the SQ route. sold half the system, and cleaning it back...

How much did you spend/ how long did it take for your lift kit install?

my last truck had a RCD 6" lift installed. researched it and just felt more comfortable letting a shop handle the ifs front end. Bought the lift for $1500, and they charged $600 to install it. they did everything from the lift, included lengthened steel braided brake lines, lengthened the...
