    After doing my own "research" , I chose to go with a hanger kit from Fabworx. The brackets look far stronger than the others (my opinion). May be worth a look for you though. www.fabworxoffroad.com Jason

    GMT400 You can't quit looking at!

    There are alot of cyclists in my area, and many of them are the arrogant asses that will ride 5-10 mph down the middle of the road and completely disregard automobile traffic. I have no problem with a rider on the road, but I believe they need to get out of the way, no matter what the law states...

    GMT400 You can't quit looking at!

    My junk :rocking: I've been thinking of selling it and getting a crew cab duramax, but I like it too much to part with it. Within 2 or 3 months, it will have a Dana 60 under the front and be on either a 33 or 35" tire, it's been this tall since roughly 03'-04'ish... Time for a...

    The 80 is a far better transmission. True, the 80 is heavier, has not as low of first gear, etc, but for durability, you can't compare a 60 to an 80. The swap is not a simple remove/ replace swap, but is worth while if the added strength is needed. That I have found, the easiest way to control...

    4L60e ---> 4L80e

    I can't give you all the answers, but do know this... The 80 is longer in length than the 60 and takes differant computer programming to run. I am going to be doing the swap myself in my Yukon. I have the transmission already, just am looking inot the computer situation. I may go with a stand...

    Another member from GMFS, here is my Yukon...

    Quite a few years back, there was a shop named Gradys Offroad, he has since closed up shop though. There are a few companies that make them, but be prepared for the cost... NOT CHEAP! Jason

    Thank you. I have thought of selling it, but I have too much money into it and with the economy the way it is... I will keep it.
