GMT400 Lift Guide

Can anyone tell me where to get a 4 or 6 inch suspension lift for a 92 K2500 for around the price of an ebay rcx 1/2 ton lift? approx. $999Also is there any difference in the kit for 6 lug and 8 lug?

I looked into the Zone products when i was looking for new shocks and all i could find was complaints about jeep lift kits that sag and mediocre shocks. I don't really know what kind of quality they offer. If you want to spend the money for good shocks I'd go with bilsteins. I think the ones for...

14 Bolt SF for $75

Got it in today, but i still can't get the drums off. everything is in except the u joint, drive shaft, and parking brake cables. Do I need a puller?

Picked up a 14 bolt 6 lug out of a 98 z71 on sunday and it all looks the same as far as shocks springs all that stuff. I'll be getting the u joint for it tmrw... the only problem i have now is the drums won't come off the 14 bolt. It's like they are rusted to the axle, any advice on breaking em...

The Stupid Electronics Questions Thread

My air conditioner display has never had any problems before, but now the light that comes on when you push the blue ac button just blinks and my ac won't work. It is a 92 and the ac has always worked until it started blinking.... I don't know exactly when it got messed up because it happened...

Oh! my mistake... I didn't think it was 4wd. No sticker on the bed and I couldnt see the buttons on the dash threw me off I guess.

Damn! I wish I could have gotten this sooner. I made a trip to coppell last weekend and there is a 4 wheel parts store up there. I couldnt wait and went ahead and bought some pro comp explorer shocks and spent $194 out the door for just shocks.

Why is a lumpy cam a pain?? I'm with redline97sbc... I want a cam you can hear loping in my daily driver but I don't know what to buy. I get decent mileage now and my truck has no top end power at all because of my gears, tire size, etc. A cam that would keep my mileage good with any horespower...
