These tables are pretty cool, never seen something that in depth. Where did you find them?

The factory service manuals also have a lot of similar information.

So the shop thought it was crankshaft sensor so they replaced that and it didn’t fix it. They can’t figure out why the fuel pressure isn’t acting right. Like i said, fuel pump has been replaced twice now.
The fuel pressure would be at like 40 and it would start with it. Something you will have to crank the key back and forth a couple times for it to start in the mornings to build the pressure. Besides that it usually starts up just fine.
Tested the fuel pressure regulator by blocking off the return line and the fuel pressure would only go up to 50-55. What would be causing this? Also the fuel filter was replaced with the first fuel pump in August

Since the pressure wouldn't exceed the regulated pressure (60-66 psi) with the return line valved off, it's probably a bad pump or clogged strainer, low voltage to pump or bad ground at the pump.

I would think that they would have checked the voltage (voltage drop) at the pump and also the ground there. There's a test jumper near the driver firewall at the fusible link that will energize the pump when connected to one of the adjacent battery positive posts. Use a fused jumper wire.

Check ground 404, see if it's clean and tight. I couldn't find a better image, but it's located in the back somewhere...

Next time it acts up, swap the relay with a new one. If it doesn't help, return the part.

So i went to test the fuel pressure again myself and it is at 50 and won’t go higher. Went to swap the relay and the truck runs the exact same at 50 psi with no relay in it at all??? How does that even make sense. When you were talking about where i could energize the pump is this just by doing it at the relay? If so which pin do i use? Thanks again. The truck was in the shop for a while and I’m trying to figure it out myself now that i have some time off again.

Okay so i found the terminal on the relay that i needed and used a jumper like you said. I went under the truck and i was getting 12.47 volts at the pump which is the exact same as the battery. Also that ground is clean and has a new bolt
On it too cause i snapped the old one when i had the bed off a few weeks ago.
