So I have a 97 Silverado extended cab with the 40/60 bench in the front. I want to switch over to bucket seats. I found a guy that has a 98 with buckets etc.

I read a bit on here and it sounds like I'm drilling 4 holes correct?

Now I couldn't find much on how to mount the Centre console, is there drilling required?

I also was thinking- when removing the 60/40 bench are there exposed holes in the carpet?

Any info or pictures of someone who's added the console would be great.
Thanks

When I switched my 97 I didn't have to drill any holes. There were already there and threaded below the carpet. You should be able to look under the truck and see if they are there. Mine did not have the holes exposed in the carpet, i set the buckets in and market where I thought I would have to drill but after cutting the carpet no drilling was required. I added a nbs console so I don't know how that will work out for you.
