Much better to just use the conversion u joint. They're cheap.

Rear left and right parking brake cables are different, so you have to obtain the correct ones that go with the 14 bolt. ( F44 HD chassis option )

New U-bolts, nuts and washers for the leaf springs. Brake fluid, U-joint.

Possibly ( depending on the serviceability and completeness of the replacement axle assembly )

New brake shoes
New backing plates
New wheel cylinders
New brake hardware kit
New brake lines across the housing
New wheel bearings
New seals ( wheel end and / or pinion )
New carrier bearings
New pinion bearings
New pinion yoke
Gear oil
New differential cover
New gasket
Brake fluid
Replacement axle lower U bolt plates, these are no longer available according to the dealer here, left and right side are mirror image of each other, as the leaf springs are angled.
