Check the factory service manual in regards to dealing with the clockspring. If you don't handle it properly, you can break it. It only "reels out" so far.. so you need to have the wheel positioned correctly and shaft connected so the wheel doesn't spin freely.

Does Wolff make it for the 95 1500?
I do believe so, I’m not sure what the differences are between the columns though. Iirc the older column shared some parts and dimensions with s10’s and square bodies (?) don’t hold me too that information though :crazy:

Any other items I should maintenance or repair while swapping to tilt column?
I figured I should order parts and be ready when its time for the swap

While it’s a part, strip it all down and paint it. They always flash rust. Just make sure to avoid painting anything that shouldn’t be!

The clock spring should transfer between tilt and non tilt columns correct?
