Loose steering column

Hey Guys,
I began the hydrobosst upgrade and ran into some issues. One of them is that I had to remove a lower U shaped bracket near the column/brake pedal area, I am having issues re installing it & also noticed that the column sits lower than it should. Anyone have any clear diagrams or videos to referance? The repair manual I have do not have the clearest photos for a newbie
My thoughts are to pull the column re install the bracket & then properly install & align the column.

Are you using the OE your year service manuals available here , search in forum, free. Aftermarket service books, are to broad, not giving specific repair info.
Since there is many combinations of , wheel, shifter, tilt I would review this section in volume 1 of service manual.
