    The Vortec L31 would work, you would just have to get a new intake manifold that would work with the Vortec heads. Assuming your truck is TBI, Edelbrock makes a vortec tbi manifold. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

    Why not just rebuild the one that's on the truck? It's a 6-lug, so i'm assuming it's an 8.5" axle. Get new ring and pinion for your ratio, rebuild kit, bearing, seals, etc... and throw in a Detroit TruTrac. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
