Well mainly I drive the truck from Fl to Ga to my hunting camp. I'm going to build the vortex because I have to do it a little bit at a time I'm keeping the stock intake as I've had the ecm done by someone. I'd like to you know bump it up a little. Nothing to radical. I havnt measured them yet...
Ok so im sure the info is here but I just don't have time to sit here and search for it. Im going to have to rebuild my vortec 5.7. My question is who has the best parts for these engines. Ive looked on Jegs and there parts are very few. Thanks
ignition switch. There will be a fuse in my 98K1500 it is labeled PND321. if with the key on there is no power on that fuse then it is the ignition switch.
Hook up a volt meter at the battery and see what it is really charging. One thing ive found over the years with my 98 K1500 is the gauges are not very accurate.

How long ago was that? And who did it if you don't mind me asking. Seems to me that is really the only way to bypass the passlock is have it tuned out.
